Suttering

Allison has begun stuttering. It started at the end of September or Beginning of October; can't recall exaclty. It has gotten much worse though. Just this morning, on the 3 minute ride to Kathleen's, the beginning of every sentence was met with long repetitions. E E E E E E Ethan swallowed Emma's birdie. Ah ah ah ah ah ah ah He coulda choked, mommy. Ma ma ma ma ma ma ma mommy, I'm talking to you. E E E E E E Ethan swallowed Emma's birdie.

I was almost in tears by the time I got to Kathleen's house.

So I called the district again. I'm supposed to receive a call back. I just want her to be evaluated through school, and then if they cannot do anything for her, I will hire a SLP on my own.

I'm worried sick over this. I don't want her to have any unusual struggles in life. Life is full of enough without having a speech disorder.
