So I have now left 4 messages with the district to try to get an evlauation set up for Allison's stuttering. No one has called me back yet. I'll call again today.
It's hard to listen to your child not be able to speak fluently. I'm going to keep on doing what I can to get her some therapy, and in the meantime, I'm going to try to be positive and hope that as quickly as this came on it will vanish. I'm not putting all my faith in the hope that this just goes away on its own though.
In the meantime, all the leaves are falling off the trees and I'm counting down the days until I can decorate for Christmas. 22 more days as of now.
We're going to do Christmas morning downstairs this year because of the size of the basement and the fact that most of the toys will wind up down there. So this is fun because I have that much more space to splash red and green Christmas cheer around!
All the shopping for the girls is done. I'm sure I'll find more stuff here and there, like stocking stuffers, but the bulk of their gifts is finished. Now to just do the other kids, parents, the secret santas and Joe.
